The PYP at AKA Mombasa promotes learner agency both within and beyond the classroom.

Primary Years Programme

Six to 10-year-olds at the Aga Khan Academy Mombasa learn and play in their dedicated Junior School area. They learn to apply their knowledge to real-world situations, develop independent and collaborative working habits and develop a sense of community.

“I love coming to school because I get to see my friends and learn new things with them. Working in groups helps us understand ideas together, and my teachers always help when something is difficult. School is a fun place to learn and grow.”
