Academy Students Shine at Triathlon

Triathlon Kenya under a new Federation team hosted one of the largest attended event of its kind on 18-19 September, 2010 in Kenya. The Baraka Chai ITU Mombasa African Cup Triathlon was held at the Aga Khan Academy Mombasa, and attracted over three hundred international and local athletes involved in swimming, cycling and running.

The AKAM students put up an impressive performance and scored first place in several categories such as 8-9 boys, 10-11 boys, 12-13 boys, 14-15 girls, 8/U boys relay, and second place in 6-7 girls, 10-11 girls, 12-13 girls, 8/U girls relay, 9/10/11 boys and girls relay, and 12/13/14 boys relay. The Academy students also cinched the best girls, 1st runner up boys and best coach awards.
