Student Life

Beyond the classroom, day students and boarders experience the full vibrancy of Academy life. They can try out an array of sports and creative activities, and put their skills to use for others in their service learning projects.

Find out what to expect from our residential programme, including the opportunity to study abroad for a semester, and see how our well-being team supports students.

“We must... infuse our students with what I would call three “A’s” of modern learning – the spirit of anticipation, the spirit of adaptation and the spirit of adventure. This will happen best in learning environments which are both serious and focused on the one hand, but which are also joyous and inspiring places, operating on the cutting edge of pedagogy and knowledge.”

Home Away From Home

“The close-knit community and bonds formed at the Academy evoke a strong sense of belonging, truly making it feel like a home away from home. Having everything within reach, from sports facilities to study spaces, allows me to balance academics with well-being.

Being surrounded by motivated peers creates an environment that constantly pushes me to do better. The teachers are also always available, making residential life supportive and personal.

The community is incredibly diverse with different cultures, languages and perspectives. These shared experiences reflect the Aga Khan Curricular Strand of Pluralism – the idea that difference is not just accepted but celebrated. We embody His Late Highness Prince Karim Aga Khan IV’s vision of learning from one another, becoming the change-makers of tomorrow.”
