Who Are We Looking For?
We have great ambitions for our students, and for the communities we hope they will work to benefit. Our vision rests with the people who create the environment in which the students live and who share their knowledge and enthusiasm with them. We aim to hire the best educators and staff from within the local community, nationally and internationally.
We seek colleagues who are:
- Enthusiastic about the Aga Khan Academies’ vision of creating homegrown, ethical leaders in the countries where we operate
- Committed to our values of pluralism and meritocracy
- Eager to play a role in our vibrant school community
“We are heartened by an important new World Bank study which indicates that it is not the quantity of time or money that leads to educational success, but rather the quality of specific educational experiences. The stimulus provided by extraordinary teachers and exceptional companions is most important.”
His Late Highness Aga Khan IV
Mombasa, August 2007

Supporting Student Well-being
“I joined the Academy in 2023, and ever since, it has been an incredibly fulfilling and enriching journey. With over 10 years of experience as a personal counsellor in both residential and day schools, I work closely with the Pastoral Care team to ensure student well-being and contribute to designing Personal, Social and Health Education modules across grades.
At the Academy, I have the privilege of working with students, their families and teachers to support the social and emotional well-being of our highly motivated and high-achieving learners. I also make it a priority to stay updated on evolving practices in school counselling by attending national and international workshops that help me continue to grow and serve our community better.”

A Lifelong Bond
“My journey at the Aga Khan Academy Hyderabad has been truly incredible. We arrived in February 2020, just as the world was awakening to the coronavirus, and soon after, the country went into lockdown. While many friends and family were confined to apartments, we were fortunate to be on this beautiful 100-acre campus. The lush greenery, wildflowers and hills helped us reconnect with nature. What stood out most was the warmth, care, and sense of belonging within the community. We were welcomed like family, supported through every moment. The Academy is far more than a school – it’s a lifelong connection built on compassion, shared values and the belief that good people can do amazing things.”

The vision and the philosophy of His Highness the Aga Khan has been taught to us since when we were children; to see a culmination of this in the form of a school that aspires to raise leaders of tomorrow was immensely gratifying."
