Shakespeare reborn!
The Senior School students commemorated the 449th birth anniversary of William Shakespeare on Tuesday, 23 April, World Book Day.
Different stages of his life were recalled and re-enacted by our budding actors. Everything was done in the form of dance and role play as a summary of his whole life and world.
Characters from his plays also participated, played by students: the three witches from Macbeth, Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet, and so forth.
By way of contrast, some MYP students recited sonnets. Everyone had a lot of fun. “All’s well that ends well.”
