It Was Raining Goals!

It was raining heavily! Rain before the match, goals during the match, and celebrations after! It was 7:30 a.m. and the day was cloudy. Phhuu (whistle)! The match starts and Shreenidhi are off with a great start and keep the ball in their possession. There come the Aga Khan students to get the ball.

The ball is stolen from Shreenidhi and the students of the Aga Khan Academy are passing. Shreenidhi tries to charge, but Aaliq Sitafalwalla receives the ball from Dalton and runs towards the goal post and shoots, but the ball deflects and goes out for a corner. Aaliq takes the corner, crosses it and BANG! Faizaan heads it, and it’s a superb goal from our No.10!

AKA,H 1 – 0 SIS

The match starts again and the score is 1–0, Shreenidhi not allowing AKA,H to get the ball. SIS are attacking, but our goalkeeper Faizal grabs the ball and passes to Aaliq. He goes to attack, dribbling passes to Dalton, and he dribbles, passes to Aaliq. He runs through the goal post and finishes with a shot, and it’s a goal!

AKA,H 2 – 0 SIS

Shreenidhi starts again with the ball. Once again it is stolen by AKA,H, given to Dalton, and he crosses the defenders, dribbles the keeper and SCORES!

AKA,H 3 – 0 SIS

Half Time

Phhuu! The match starts again and AKA,H have the ball, the AKA,H fans cheering and excited for the second half after a brilliant first half. The match starts, and Faizaan has the ball. He gives it to Amaan, and he crosses it to Dalton. He is one-on-one with keeper – he shoots and it’s a beauty!

AKA,H 4 – 0 SIS

The ball is with SIS, and they pass and they dribble, but the defence does not allow them to continue. SIS start, and they pass and dribble and they come to attack, but the defence does not allow them to continue their possession. The ball is caught by Afreed and then crossed to Faizaan, and he crosses to Aman Kamal who receives the pass well, meddles with the defenders, twists and turns and smashes it in the low corner beyond the keeper.

AKA,H 5 – 0 SIS

The match goes on and Sreenidhi scores 1 goal and AKA,H scores 2. In the end, AKA,H wins the match 7–1.
