The Aga Khan Academy Hyderabad students finished first in this year’s Design Championship at Ambitus World School, Hyderabad. The event was on 7th September and had 97 teams from city schools participating. The championship is aimed at improving technical innovation, problem solving, design thinking, effective communication and decision making skills in students.

This year’s challenge was to design a game in one week. Schools were given the theme “Chaos/Time”. The winning team from AKA Hyderabad included Academy Senior School MYP students Sahishnu Chatarvedula, D.Vega and Adom Oshon. There were three teams representing the Academy, two junior teams and one senior team. Other Academy teams received accolades for their outstanding effort.
