BBC Africa profiles Aga Khan Academy Mombasa Student Ziyaan Virji

From 22–29 May, the Aga Khan Schools celebrated 350 International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme graduates across its schools in Africa and Asia, while also marking the signing of new Memorandums of Understanding with universities in Canada and the UAE.

The Aga Khan Schools and Huron University have renewed their Memorandum of Understanding, reaffirming a shared commitment to expanding higher education opportunities and creating pathways for talented students to thrive as leaders and changemakers. 

The Aga Khan Schools and Toronto Metropolitan University in Canada have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to expand higher education opportunities and strengthen global pathways for students across the Aga Khan Schools.

The Aga Khan Schools and Royal Roads University – Ras Al Khaimah Campus in the UAE have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen higher education pathways and expand opportunities for students across the Aga Khan Schools. 

For Earth Day this year, the Aga Khan Schools highlights its efforts to promote environmentally-friendly and sustainable practicses through the design and architecture of its schools.

The Aga Khan Schools celebrated more than 250 graduates from Kenya, Mozambique, India and Bangladesh. The Class of 2025 earned over $14 million in scholarships, led award-winning service projects and are headed to top global universities – ready to lead and serve worldwide.
