Academy graduate carries the flag for Uganda at Rio Olympic Games
Joshua Tibatemwa, who graduated from the Aga Khan Academy Mombasa in 2015, will be swimming for Uganda at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He was selected to be the flag bearer for his country and proudly led in Uganda's athletes at the opening ceremony on Friday, 5 August 2016.

Currently a student at Grinnell College in the United States, Joshua set two national records at the world championships in Kazan, Russia last year.
Joshua will be swimming in the 50-metre freestyle competition on 11 August.
